Gear inspection stands Gear inspection stands include fixing and rotating the part and sensor. They can be configured for one gear surface or so that OD, ID and teeth surfaces can be measured with the same stand. Also stand designs to measure gear face surfaces are available. Depending on the need the stand can be fully manual or the part can be rotated on it by a motor. When large amount of measurements on different types of gears are made, Stresstech´s more automatic and programmable stands such as RoboScans become very useful.
