Goniometer G2 or G2R 
The precision compact goniometer G2 or G2R with rotation of the XSTRESS 3000 is based on two detectors symmetrically positioned on both sides of the incident beam in the modified χ-geometry. This has made it possible to replace the conventional 2θ-brackets by a single arc shaped detector holder. G2 features - Instantly adjustable 2Θ-angle
- Extended χ-inclination range of -45° to 60°
- Computer controlled DC servomotor drives for all movements
- Digital precision adjustment of distance between detectors and the measurement point
- Capability to test stresses in gear roots in the load direction and inside internal diameters as small as 155 mm
- Can be operated in any position
- Standard tripod can be upgraded for the optional φ rotation unit (G2R)
