Barkhausen

Sensors

The key to the diversity of Barkhausen Noise applications is the number of contact and noncontact sensors available for each unit. For high durability and stability, all sensors are cast with epoxy into a stainless steel case. In addition, tungsten carbide is used in critical contact surfaces to reduce mechanical wear to a mimimum and achieve a service life of several years even in the harshest environment.

Sensors suitable for static or dynamic, manual or automated inspection, containing one or multiple channels, can be provided to suit your needs. In manual operation, hand-held sensors are used to study localized areas. Where 100 % inspection of large surfaces or fast inspection rates are required, inspection stands and material handling units can be incorporated.

There are few practical limits to the size and shape of Stresstech Group´s sensors. As a result, parts as small and complex as semiconductor lead frames or as large as rolling mill rolls can be inspected with Stresstech Group´s sensors.
